About Us

Why "The Cypress Seven"?

Cypress trees are often thought to represent eternal life. They are a reminder not only of my faith but of my passion for the outdoors. Through the years, I have had the opportunity to bond with the most important people in my life by introducing them to the peace and connection with nature that hunting and scouting allows. I am thankful to be rooted in Camden, South Carolina where I grew up in a family of seven. Roots are essential to life, not only for trees and plants but for humans as well. My roots here in South Carolina have helped to inspire my creations.

The idea for the timber stick originated in 2021 and was fabricated at our local, family owned fabrication and machine shop, Midlands Tooling Systems, Inc. I have personally tested each prototype to ensure quality, functionality, and durability. This product represents the work, time, and effort that my family has poured into our business. You can be certain that every product is built to last.
